About the Author

Dr. Parshant Bakshi is in the profession of teaching, research and extension and has been working as an Associate Professor (Fruit Science), SKUAST-J. His major areas of research include “Introduction of 26 cultivars of apple and 6 cultivars of pear” at RHRSS, Bhaderwah and “Agro technique refinement for wild pomegranate (Anardana) in Jammu province”, while in teaching include cultivation of temperate and unexploited fruit crops grown in India, growth and development aspects of fruit crops, nutrition of fruit plants, fruit physiology, and enzymatic changes in fruit during storage.
